About Us

Carly and Trace met in undergraduate school studying communication disorders. Their passion for helping others drew each other together and shortly after, they began their journey as husband and wife in the field of speech language pathology. After working in both the school and home health settings, they branched out and founded their own pediatric therapy company.

Upon starting their own private practice together, they realized many of the children they served were in dire need of additional resources. Because these essential resources were unavailable due to insurance and funding issues, it directly impacted their daily lives and overall well being. They desire to tackle this problem head on to further assist in increasing individuals with disabilities’ qualities of life. Serving others has been a core principle in both their family and business values, and will be the main focus for Building Beyond.

Mission

Building Beyond exists to serve and provide resources to individuals with disabilities to increase their overall quality of life. Building Beyond will meet this need by providing equipment and devices through physical and online resources for families and a centralized location for skill development through hands-on programs. Our goal is for individuals to have an opportunity to develop life skills that will allow them to contribute to society and participate in daily activities within their communities in an accessible way.
